“My first time seeing the kids in Kicked Off The Bus I was blown away. They play with a sound that is well beyond their years. Fronted by Brandon who reminds me of a young Steven Tyler, with guitarist Sam Pallazolla shreds. Bass, Drums, Keys, all play their roles so well. These kids have all the ingredients of a great rock band. In today’s day and age where bands playing real instruments and kids being into classic rock and hits from all decades is very rare, it’s refreshing to see these kids rock out. Definitely would recommend, and look forward seeing them in the future!” - Mike Forgette of Over The Bridge

Overall Impression "Come Back" is an exciting new release from talented teenaged rockers, KICKED OFF THE BUS. A throwback to the classic hair bands of the '80s, this track features a rebellious, retro-inspired rock sound with crunchy riffs, explosive drumming and monster guitar leads behind young Brandon Blatchford's surprisingly seasoned vocals. Highlighted by the magnetic title hook, resolute lyrics plead for reconciliation while conjuring feelings of unwavering hope and conviction. Rock fans of all ages will revel in the youthful spirit and vibrant energy of KICKED OFF THE BUS' "Come Back", available now as a single on all major music platforms. Strongest Point(s) Excellent production, solid mix. Wonderfully vibrant sound and atmosphere. Great vocal intro, nice fx. Rock-solid groove, rhythm section is locked in tight. Love the section at 1:05, does well to break up the arrangement and provide dynamic contrast. The bridge at 1:35 also offers subtle variety, and sets up a terrific guitar solo. Awesome vocal performance, outstanding power and control. Lyrics are simple and straightforward, focused on a strong chorus hook. Overall, this is a tremendous track with a robust classic rock sound that is quite remarkable, given the performers' young ages. Amazing effort, by all involved!
Kicked off the Bus is a talented group of local teens who always brings the best to each show. Brandon has a stage presence that captivates all audiences with a sense of humor that will keep you constantly entertained. Sam rips his solos so perfectly that you wish they would never end. The dynamic between the whole band keeps you coming back for more. If you haven’t yet been to a show, I highly recommend you add it to your bucket list!!
Kicked Off The Bus isn’t just “a good band for a bunch of kids.” They are, simply, “a good band.” Full stop. The breadth of the musical styles they tackle in their shows is as enjoyable as it is impressive, and their dedication to their craft is genuine. Their age is only a factor in that their rate of growth and evolution as artists is faster paced than most other bands. Essentially: they keep getting better, faster. As they begin venturing into writing and recording original songs, I am excited to see where they go next. - Joel Favazza, local musician
Don’t let their ages fool you, Kicked Off The Bus is a young band whose talents not only captivate the crowd, but inspire each other to continue to grow. It’s always fun to watch them perform. They’ve even recorded their very first single titled Come Back! I am so excited to see what the future has in store for Brandon, Sam, Henry, David and Elliana.
This band is so awesome to watch and see live . I’ve been to a few shows the past two years and they always leave my jaw on the ground . The new bassist is great and entertains the whole show . His chemistry with the singer Brandon is a must see !! Honestly you look at how young they are then once you hear them WOW ! Rock on Kicked off the bus
“ Kicked off the Bus is a great group of young people coming together to sing and entertain. They play songs beyond their era and sing with passion and love. Whether they are playing all together or playing acoustic with 2, their sound is genuine. It is so great to see the youth stepping out and entertaining all ages. This community is very proud of their diversity and talent, we look forward to seeing them thrive and grow. Keep playing the music as it brings people together.
Let me start by saying when I first went to hear the band in my head I was thinking “ this will be cute, some kids playing music ‘“.that all stopped the minute the guitar kicked in and I heard the singer open his mouth ! The entire band left me amazed . The rocking rythem section to the singing . They are kids at first glance and that disappears pretty quick when you hear them .
Darn good band .Awesome singer and musicians.New sound New Style .If you get the opportunity listen and Enjoy! Also love their name
I got introduced to the band kicked off the bus through Brandon the lead singer at the Minglewood tavern. One of the song that got my attention was the classic *Don’t stop believing by Journey* the passion on Brandon’s voice moved me to get him on my podcast Stars in the Making and eventually I got the entire crew on. Each one of them is great in their respective roles, they blend a unique influence and style that craft a collective identity. Therefore, I would recommend they’re stars. I’ve been watching Kicked off the Bus for some time and was always impressed with their talent, enthusiasm and musical abilities. When the Gloucester 400 was looking to add music to a family event planned for New Year’s Eve in 2023 which was a year long commemoration of 400 years and beyond of Gloucester’s history, I reached out to Kicked off the Bus and they quickly agreed to perform. Families danced, sang and played and the band enjoyed an event meant to cap off 2023 in an exciting way. Looking forward to watching the launch of Kicked of the Bus on the regional and national music scene.
I've been following KOTB since their first public performance. It was been a true pleasure to watch the growth and transformation over that time! Each time I attend their performance, I am treated to a tighter and more confident band; with an ever-growing stage presence and persona. Each member contributes strongly to produce the magic! It is clear that these hard-working young musicians are not just talented but truly passionate about their craft. Their energy is infectious; whether it be the powerhouse vocals, the intricate guitar solos, or the tight rhythm section. Their eclectic catalog of cover songs is fantastic, and their original numbers are outstanding! If you get the chance to see Kicked Off The Bus Band live, don't hesitate—it's a musical journey you won't want to miss. They’re definitely a band to watch, and I’m eagerly looking forward to their next performance as well as their success for many years to come!
